our Approach
We are passionate about education and firm believers in one-to-one learning. Our approach is highly personalized. We get to know each of our students and create a customized plan tailored just for them. Whether it is subject-specific tutoring, full-time or part-time homeschooling, college counseling, or graduate application support, we guide students of all ages and all levels.
Beyond grades and skills, we focus on helping students build confidence, formulate goals, and realize their full potential. Our teaching is always centered around the student and what they need. From helping an elementary student catch up to grade-level standards, to counseling a high schooler on college admissions, to coaching a grad student through polishing a writing sample, we help students move forward.
All of our services are offered in-person in the Boston area or remotely anywhere in the world. With many years of experience in online teaching, we ensure a seamless and interactive online experience for our students. We have worked with students in Massachusetts, New York, Montana, California, Puerto Rico, Canada, Denmark, the UK, and China.
ABOUT us
Victoria Kane, Founder

Victoria attended Tulane University in New Orleans, where she graduated summa cum laude with a major in philosophy and a minor in English. After college, Victoria went to Tufts University where she received an MA in philosophy. During graduate school, she wrote hundreds of pages, worked as a teaching assistant at Tufts and Harvard, and enjoyed the company of peers who love philosophy as much as she does. She has been tutoring and working with students for a decade.
Soon after graduating from Tufts, Victoria moved to Shanghai to work for an American-owned education company. There, she mastered the ins and outs of the college application process, working one-to-one with students applying to colleges and universities. Victoria's students have been accepted at schools including Cornell, Babson, Tufts, UCLA, Wesleyan, Carnegie Mellon, NYU, University of Wisconsin, Duke, Northwestern, Bryn Mawr, and Colgate.
Victoria now lives in Waltham, MA with her husband who shares her passion for education. She loves working with students of all ages and getting to know each of them. In her free time, Victoria can be found on a mountain, in a book, or trying a new recipe.
